AGU IN THE TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION IMPACT RANKINGS
In 2023, Abdullah Gül University (AGU) has ranked among the top 200 universities in the world and has added a new one to its international achievements. This achievement comes from the recognition of AGU's international accomplishments in the Social Impact Rankings by Times Higher Education (THE), which is considered one of the most prestigious higher education assessment organizations.

AGU ranked in the 101-200 range among all universities, worldwide in the ranking which was prepared taking into account the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ranking 28th in the category of No Poverty (SDG 1), 74th in Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17), and 98th in Quality Education (SDG 4), AGU has increased its performance by six points compared to the previous year, thanks to numerous activities and projects that contribute to the society.

In 2022, Abdullah Gül University (AGU) was placed in the world's top 300 universities in the 2022 Impact Rankings of the Times Higher Education, one of the most prestigious ranking organizations. In addition, AGU also ranked 29 globally in the category of "Quality Education."
In 2021, Abdullah Gül University (AGU) has earned international success and become the only Turkish university to be placed, for three consecutive years, in the 101-200 range of the University Impact Ranking of Times Higher Education, one of the most prestigious higher education ranking organisations.

AGU IN THE WURI - "WORLD'S UNIVERSITIES WITH REAL IMPACT" RANKINGS
AGU participated in the newly launched WURI – “World’s Universities with Real Impact” ranking, created by the Hanseatic League of Universities, HLU), of which AGU became a member.
In this inaugural edition, the well-known American institutions Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology lead the overall Innovative Universities ranking, where AGU appears:
2023:
- Surpassing the world's most prestigious universities such as Cambridge, Oxford, and Yale, and being the only university from Türkiye to enter the rankings, Abdullah Gül University (AGU) achieved great success by being ranked 15th in the 2023 WURI Global Top 100 Innovative Universities list. AGU has also ranked first in the world in the Top 50 Student Mobility and Openness category of WURI 2023.
- According to the announced list, AGU, which was in the 23rd rank last year, achieved a great international success by rising to the 15th rank this year. AGU, which surpassed the world-renowned universities such as Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, Johns Hopkins, and Columbia in the list, became the only university from Türkiye to enter the list. In the Top 50 Student Mobility and Openness category, AGU surpassed all universities and ranked first in the world.
- AGU, which aims to make advanced contributions to science and society with its scientific research and innovative educational approach, was ranked 37th in the Top 50 Industrial Application category.

2022
- Abdullah Gül University climbed to number 23 in the WURI 2022 Ranking for the Global Top Innovative Universities, which evaluates world-renowned universities such as Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, etc.
- AGU was ranked 23rd, rising 4 spots from last year's ranking, among the global top universities in the WURI 2022 Ranking, created by the Hanseatic League of Universities to evaluate universities' real contributions to the society.
- AGU achieved outstanding success by ranking 2nd in the categories of "Crisis Management" and "Student Mobility and Openness." For the first time this year, AGU has also managed to be in the ranking for the Industrial Application and Ethical Values categories by securing 50th place. Furthermore, for the third consecutive time, AGU has entered WURI's top 100 university list as the sole Turkish university, earning quite an achievement for the country.
2021
- AGU was ranked at 27th place among the global top universities of the WURI 2021 Ranking.
- In the first version of the WURI's Crisis Management category, also added as a result of the COVID-19, AGU reiterated this success globally and took 2nd place. The University also ranked 6th in Student Mobility and Openness.
2020
- 41st position and as the sole Turkish institution represented.
- AGU also ranks 10th in the “Student Mobility and Openness” category, recognizing the innovative and rich AGU internationalization practices and mobility opportunities.

AGU IN THE QS EMERGING EUROPE & CENTRAL ASIA (EECA) RANKINGS
The institution has joined the 2021 Quacquarelli Symonds EECA rankings and is pleased to announce that it has been ranked 200th in the region.
After only 8 years of active existence (AGU accepted its first students in Fall 2013), the University has already achieved some very notable results, especially in the fields of:
- Citations Per Paper: ranked 1st among 449 institutions (1st inTürkiye)
- International Faculty: ranked 36th among 449 institutions (5th in Türkiye)
- Papers Per Faculty: ranked 58th among 449 institutions (9th in Türkiye)

AGU IN THE NATIONAL INDEX EVALUATING THE BEST TRANSITION TO ONLINE EDUCATION
The Abdullah Gül University ranked First among public universities in the latest national index evaluating the best transition to online education in response to the current COVID-19 epidemic.
The survey was conducted with around 18,000 students in Türkiye by The University Assessments and Research Laboratory (ÜniAR).
The Abdullah Gül University believes in the importance of the online education system and has been shaping its education infrastructure and philosophy accordingly since its establishment.
The survey result reflects the institution's reactivity, infrastructure capability and all AGU members' (staff/students) adaptability and competence in the face of a global crisis.

AGU TOPS NATIONAL STUDENT SATISFACTION SURVEY
Abdullah Gül University (AGU) ranked 1st in the list of Turkish universities which students are most satisfied with. AGU had already topped the list among the state universities in Türkiye for three consecutive years.
The University Assessment and Research Center (UniAr), led by Prof. Engin Karadağ and Prof. Cemil Yücel, published the 2022 National Student Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) results.
According to the survey, conducted with over 47 thousand students from all years of study, AGU has had the highest student satisfaction rating among the 199 Turkish universities evaluated and came 1st both among the state universities and in the general list.
In the survey, universities were evaluated across six categories which were satisfaction with the learning experience, campus and satisfaction of life, academic support and interest, richness of learning opportunities and resources, personal development and career support, satisfaction with the institution’s management and operation.
AGU came 1st among the state universities in all the 6 categories and ranked 1st in the categories of satisfaction with the learning experience, academic support and interest satisfaction with the institution’s management and operation among all the universities in Türkiye.
AGU consistently maintained its success while leaving behind many long-established universities in terms of student satisfaction.
