This September, Head of the Abdullah Gül University International Office, Emeric Abrignani, attended the 30th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, which this time was held in Geneva, Switzerland.
The “European Association for International Education” event was hosted by the Palais des Expositions et des Congrès (Palexpo) and saw the participation of 5700 higher education professionals from 95 countries.
As part of the Conference, Mr. Abrignani attended the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Graduate Employability Rankings Summit, hosted by the University of Geneva. The event focused , among other things, on the “Global Graduate Skill Gap: Expectations vs Reality”.
As a higher education networking event, EAIE was also the opportunity for our AGU representative to, not only meet with potential new partners (from France, Italy, UK, Poland, South Korea, Russia, India, Romania, Thailand, Colombia, etc.)…
… but also to reconnect with our existing partner institution, Shih Chien University (Taiwan), as well as with many of our colleagues and friends from fellow Turkish universities.
