After receiving a group of Dutch students in the morning, on April 30th the Abdullah Gül University also welcomed around 150 Kyrgyz students, coming from 8 different Turkish cities (such as Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya…), for an annual football and volleyball competition.
This year’s edition was being held in Kayseri and the participants were welcomed to our campus after their long journeys across the country.
After a presentation of our University in our conference hall, our Kyrgyz visitors discovered our campus and were offered lunch in our canteen. In the afternoon, they were free to relax and take advantage of the nice weather in our green areas, or to make themselves comfortable inside, as well as to enjoy our sports material and facilities.
In the late afternoon the students then took back to their tour buses, in order to reach their final destination in Kayseri for the competition’s opening ceremony.
We wish them all the luck and a lot of fun with their competition!
