International staff mobility week was organized by Abdullah Gül University (AGU) International Office.
15 people working in the field of internationalization from 9 different institutions from the USA, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Malaysia and Iraq attended the event held at the Sümer Campus.
On the first day of the event, the International Office team made a presentation introducing Kayseri and Abdullah Gül University. Then, the activities of the university in the field of internationalization were explained.
On the second day, the participants made their presentations about their institutions and met with AGU students and staff at the stands they opened. Vice Rector of Sapienza University of Italy, Prof. Dr. Luciano Saso also attended the event via Zoom and made a presentation titled "The Effects of Covid-19 on Universities" and answered the questions.
The event, in which the Youth Factory and Career Center officials introduced their units on the third day, ended with the workshops held on the last day, where the participants shared their experiences on internationalization, international student recruitment and international mobility.
At the end of the event, certificates were given to the participants and volunteer students who supported the organization.
Foreign guests participating in the International Staff Mobility Week visited the Abdullah Gül Presidential Museum and Library, the historical and touristic sites of Kayseri and Cappadocia, as well as the Sümer Campus.
