A week and a half after the success of the first AGU Intercultural Workshops — where the best high school students of AGUV-TOBB Tekden Anadolu High School sit down with AGU international members to discover a new culture and practice their English — which saw the Abdullah Gül University‘s Moroccan students interact with the high schoolers, the University already hosted the second edition of the successful interactive event.
This week, it was our Pakistani students who worked with the high schoolers, to teach them about Pakistani history, geography, culture, food, dress, music and sports.
Our Pakistani full-time students were also joined by two exchange students, who joined AGU for the Spring semester, from our partner institution, the Institute of Business Management, in Karachi.
In keeping with the structure of the AGU Intercultural Workshops, the group of visiting high school students was divided into three working groups (after a ice-breaking game all together) and sat down in separate rooms with their Pakistani hosts to learn about the country and ask questions.
After around 1 hour of discussions, the working groups were reunited into the plenary session, so that each group could present to their classmates what they had learned about Pakistan.
