MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

International Applicants:

One of the following exam results is mandatory for International Graduate Applications:

- GRE Quantitative Reasoning score of minimum 153 (or 680 in the old scoring system).

- GMAT score of minimum 500.

For Master applicants: If the applicant has graduated from a 100% English teaching school and document it, then a language document will not be asked.

- Application for Ph.D. Program with a Bachelor degree requires minimum score of GRE Quantitative Reasoning 156 (or 720 according to the old score system) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) 590 and minimum Grand Point Average (GPA) of 3.0/4.0.

- GRE & GMAT scores are valid for three years.

One of the following minimum scores as proof of English Proficiency:

- TOEFL iBT: 87 (valid for 2 years)
- PTE: 74
- YDS/e-YDS/UDS/KPDS: 73 (valid for 5 years)

- Higher Education Council Foreign Language Exam (YÖKDİL): Minimum 73 (Science and Health Science)

*Master applicants who fail to obtain the required score of 73 need a minimum score of 63 in order to be allowed to reach the interview stage of the enrollment process. If applicants are accepted by the end of the interview process, they are then conditionally accepted and are given a one-year period to take the English exam again in order to obtain the required score of 73.
- AGU English Exemption Exam* (AGU-IMS Exam): 70 (minimum sub-score per each section)
*AGU-IMS exam is only valid for M.Sc. application. Ph.D. applicants must hold one of the other English proficiency tests scores.

*Students who have completed their Bachelor or Master degree abroad before applying to AGU Graduate programs should bear in mind that their previous institution abroad must be investigated and approved by the Turkish Higher Education Council.

In case the institution abroad is not recognized by the Turkish Higher Education Council, the student cannot register or graduate from a Graduate program in a Turkish State university.

Students who had been pre-registered to an institution before the decision of the Turkish Higher Education Council and whose institution is not recognized by the Council will see their registration canceled.
